This is an extraordinary dive safari where you’ll be able to explore one of the world’s most iconic tropical dive destinations, Raja Ampat. You’ll spend 7 nights based at the stunning Papua Explorers Resort, located in the heart of the Raja Ampat archipelago. Within just a few minutes of the resort is a range of dive sites that play host to some of the most diverse marine habitats found anywhere on the planet.
Expect truly pristine coral gardens packed with hard and soft corals that carpet the island slopes all the way up to the surface. Masses of fish life explode from the reefs with good chances of swimming next to bigger fish such as manta rays, reef sharks, and schools of barracuda and jacks. Of course, the area is also famous for its smaller inhabitants as well, like various species of pigmy seahorses, nudibranchs, blue-ring octopus, and so much more! This tour has the perfect combinations of marine life big and small, magnificent reefs at all depths, and a world-class dive resort catering to your every need.

|Max Group Size||12 People|
Arrive at Jakarta International Airport (CGK) and check in to Jakarta Airport Hotel. Relax and recover from the journey.
Check out and board your flight to Sorong. Upon arrival you’ll meet the Papua Explorer crew and drive to the pier, and then take the 1.5 hour transfer boat to the resort.
Upon arrival, you will check in to our bungalows, have a snack and orientation, and, time permitting, a dive on the house reef followed by dinner.
The mornings will start with a breakfast buffet, serving a variety of home-baked goods, fruits, hot foods, and juices. You will then set off on the speed boats, accompanied by local dive guides, to some of the beautiful sites in the area. You will do two different dives sites during the course of the morning excursion before returning to the resort for lunch.
After lunch there will be a third dive scheduled. The house reef is also always open as well foryou to dive at your leisure.
Night dives and sunset dives will also be offered, and are highly recommended as the reef is a completely different place at night. All the nocturnal creatures come out, like octopus, cuttlefish, squids, crabs and the endemic Raja Ampat walking shark, which can be found in the very shallow water. There are also Mandarin fish on the house reef that tend to be active only at dusk and are worth looking for.
One morning you have the option to head out early to a nearby island for a short trek to see if you can find the Birds of Paradise and even possibly see them doing their mating dance and showing off their amazing plumage. Another day can be spent out on the boats all day touring and diving the FAM Islands. On this day a packed lunch will be prepared for you, as well as plenty of snacks and drinks. This particular day will be a 3 dive excursion. These schedules will be decided according to the weather.
Meals are served at the restaurant, built in an unusual circular design on stilts over the water, providing a 360 view of the ocean and jungle. Meals are generally served buffet-style and include western and Indonesian dishes and flavors. Snacks are served between dives on the boat, and afternoon tea, coffee and snacks are served as you return from the third dive of the day.
On the final day you’ll leave the resort on a morning boat transfer in time to get your flight from Sorong to Jakarta.
