This beautiful remote resort is located on Uepi Island, a 2.5km long by 300m wide raised barrier reef island, covered in tropical rain forest. Accessible from Honaira (the capital of the Solomon Islands) by a 60-minute light-plane flight and a short trip on a long boat, this little island is postcard-perfect. The position of the island, on the edge of the world’s longest lagoon, means beautiful clear water and fine sandy beaches.
The intimate Uepi Island Resort sleeps a maximum of 20 guests in its 10 accommodations. All the rooms have private bathrooms attached and arestocked with 100% biodegradable toiletries for your use. The rooms each have tea and coffee making facilities as well as small fridges. The resort supplies fresh rainwater for drinking and bottle refills.
Breakfast and dinner are served at the restaurant area, while lunch is served on each guest’s private veranda. Meals are created predominantly from fresh seafood and organically grown fruits and vegetables, but every effort is made to cater for guests’ personal tastes.
Diving from Uepi Resort allows access to several different world-class sites ranging from lagoon coral gardens to spectacular walls and dramatic vertical drop-offs.
