Situated in the heart of Raja Ampat, Papua Paradise Resort offers 26 waterfront stilted en-suite bungalows overlooking a long stretch of house reef and backed by lush jungle white sandy beach. The Seaview Restaurant serves a variety of European and Indonesian cuisine on an elaborate buffet. Meals are prepared using homegrown veggies, and other locally sourced produce wherever possible.
Diving in this region is fantastic. Known for being the most marine bio-diverse area in the world and boasting healthy reef systems with enormous fish populations, Raja Amapt diving will not disappoint. With some of the liveliest reefs in the world, sightings of schooling fish, manta rays, turtles, eels, and sharks including the elusive wobbegong are common. The resort’s house reef is home to mandarin fish, bamboo and reef sharks, wobbegongs, and manta rays with an occasional dugong.
Papua Paradise Resort has 10 boats in its fleet so that groups can be kept small, with a maximum of 4 divers per guide. Each purpose built boat has first aid and oxygen on board and offer guests fresh towels, hot beverages and snacks between dives. The dive shop offers free Nitrox fills to all certified divers. Packages include up to 4 dives a day, and three buffet meals with snacks on the boat.
