The local dive sites are great for critter hunting, wish some lovely reefs and interesting topography. Gangga is situated exactly halfway between Bunaken Marine Park and Lembeh Straights, two world-renowned diving locations. 3-dive day trips to both locations are regularly organised. Bunaken offers spectacular wall diving, abundant with schooling fish, hawks-bill turtles and critters. Lembeh Straight is wideky considered the top muck diving destination in the world. Here the dark sandy slopes are home to some of the strangest and rarest of critters, including coconut, blue-ring, mimic and wonderpus octopus, hairy frogfish, hundreds of species of nudibranch, demon scorpion fish, flamboyant cuttlefish and several types of eel, to name but a few highlights.
