The Carpe Diem liveaboard offers luxury and stability throughout a collection of the Maldives’ premier dive regions. Built in 2008 she consists of 10 cabins built over 3 decks and with a number of outside and inside communal areas to enjoy between dives. The main boat is accompanied by a diving dhoni (tender) and a small speedboat (dingy) and is serviced by an experienced crew and team of divemasters with extensive knowledge of the region.
In terms of schedule, Carpe Diem liveaboard dedicates much of it’s time north of the Lhaviyani Atoll, diving sites around the Raa, Baa and Noonu Atolls. Expect an itinerary showcasing rich and diverse dive sites in this remote territory of the Maldives. From current fueled channel dives attracting large marine life like mantas and whale sharks to slower paced fringing reefs where exquisite critters and invertebrates can be discovered, the schedules are designed to show off a little bit of everything the Maldives has to offer. From July to November Carpe Diem liveaboard passes Hanivaru to witness colossal schools of manta rays feeding in the plankton rich waters. Other highlights include the overhangs of Kuredu, where masses of cruising green turtles pass by, and the grey reef sharks of Raa Atoll.
