We’re down to our last few places on our Philippines Island Safari, being our newest tour it features diving no less than 7 different islands with varying topography and marine life on offer. We’ll be based on Negros Island in the southern Visayas for the first part of the trip diving the rich reefs of Apo Island, the stunning walls of Siquijor and the black sand slopes of Dauin. We really like the variation of diving in this part of the Philippines, the dives sites around Dauin are packed with weird and wonderful critters and each day of diving is different from one day to the next. For the second part of the tour we’ll travel north to the tip of Cebu and cross to Malapascua Island, you’ll perhaps have heard of the superb opportunities for diving with thresher sharks here with Monad Shoal atol being one of the few places in the world where it’s possible to get regular encounters with these otherwise elusive predators but there’s much more to Malapascua Island. We’ll also dive the local reefs of the island which again offer abundant critters and vibrant corals, also excellent for night diving and make full day trips to some other destinations like Gato Island which has great soft coral gardens and white tip sharks.
