Prices
A 7 night stay in a deluxe water cottage costs £1,550 and includes full board with non alcoholic drinks, transfers to and from the resort on scheduled days, government taxes and one night stay in Sorong hotel for transit with airport service. Deluxe Villa accommodation is also available, as is 12 and 14 night packages, contact for details. Diving is additional – see below.
Diving
A ten dive package costs £370, single dives are £41 each. Topography ranges from platform reefs, fringe reefs, pinnacles and sea mounts. The dive sites around Misool are a photographer’s dream, ideal for both wide angle and macro preferences. For non divers snorkeling packages can be arranged but guests are requested to bring there own equipment.
Travel
Our preferred route is via Jakarta or Singapore then by Express Air connecting flight to/from Sorong (the gateway city to Raja Ampat). Misool Eco Resort staff will collect you from the airport and transfer to resort.
The Sorong – Resort transfer takes between 3-4hrs by 14m fiberglass boat which comes equipped with reclining seats, air conditioning, safety equipment and 3 250Hp engines. En route you’ll pass some spectacular scenery as you pass through the myriad of islands that make up the Raja Ampat.
Tips & Suggestions
Raja Ampat can be conveniently combined with another Indonesian destination. We can arrange connections to dive Komodo, Bali or North Sulawesi but would recommend this for a 14 day plus itineraries. If you like muck diving Ambon is within easy reach and offers very different terrain and diving environment.
