The devastating news that a major 7.4-magnitude earthquake and the ensuing tsunami that hit the coast of Sulawesi – killing thousands, leaving a huge number of people homeless, destroying mosques and local amenities is hard news to digest.
Indonesia is a place held dearly to us; we love the people, it’s beauty and landscapes which we have been privileged to enjoy over the years.
In an effort to try and help Dive Safari Asia have already donated £500, but are now reaching out and asking for your help in a bid to raise £1,000 to be donated to the relief fund. At this stage, to try and support the communities affected by the tsunami and earthquake, charities are sending solar lights, phone chargers and water filters to the affected area. The funds are also being used to purchase desperate items including food, fuel, first aid kits and hygiene items.
Please donate in whichever way you can and help get us on our way to reaching our £1,000 target to support the victims of the tsunami in Central Sulawesi.
Thank you gratefully,
The Team at Dive Safari Asia
