We think Bali has much to offer, the island has a wealth of dive sites to explore including fringing reefs, manta cleaning stations and wreck dives accessible from the shore. The islands off the eastern coastline attract oceanic sunfish during the drier months of May through to October whilst north shore has some fabulous black sand slopes which are home to an array of critters.
Menjangan Island boasts well-preserved reef walls and the chance for encounters with hunting predators. Above the waves, there are lush rice terraces, elaborate temples and bustling markets to discover, making Bali one of our favourite dive and travel destinations.
Our safari style experiences where you’ll get to experience the full range of diving on offer will take you away from the tourist-filled southern regions and into the real Bali. Starting from the eastern provinces your days will be spent diving around the neighbouring islands of Nusa Penida and Lembongan in cobalt blue waters, searching for mantas and sunfish.
The Liberty Wreck is 120m in length and is now covered in colourful soft corals – as a shore dive it’s one of the most relaxing wreck dives we know and is home to schooling jacks, barracuda and rays. Finish off your time by reef diving at Mimpang and Tepekong, before heading to the north shore for muck diving at Putri Jati or the walls of Menjangan.
Talk to us about tailoring your Bali diving experience to your diving and land based preferences, combining with another destination such as Komodo or Wakatobi also comes highly recommended.
