I, and I think we all, had a great time at Mike’s Dive Resort. All of the staff there were really friendly, both resort and dive side. The guides were amazing, not sure how they spot some of the little critters.
I think I would go back.
The Resort:
They met the groups dietary requirements really well. It might have helped if a couple of people had passed on to you that they were more restrictive than others in what they would eat. But the staff did cope really well.
I really liked the food, the menu that had been planned for us was varied and tasty.
The resort was kept clean and tidy. I really liked the foot wash as you came off the beach to get rid of the sand.

Rooms were spacious, not that we spent a lot of time in them.
Diving:
The local diving and Apo were brilliant. Being able to do multiple days at both of these was fantastic. From the very first dive the local diving delivered the critters that I wanted to see. And the corals and turtles at Apo are wonderful probably amoungst the best that I have seen.
Siquijor was ok but paled into the background compared to the first two.

The boats are nice and stable and have a good cover over them so you can hide from the sun or go and find a sunny spot if you want to catch some rays. Plenty of space for kitting up. The crew are really helpful getting you on and off. The guides team up to get fins off and start you up the ladder. I liked the bamboo handrail that the crew brought out to help us on and off the boat when back at the shore, it made me smile.
