A 7 night stay at Atlantis Resort costs £1,050 per person in a deluxe room including 4 dives per day over 6 days (including 2 full day trips to Apo or Siquijor regions), full board and snacks, tanks, weights and dive guide.
Cathay Pacific offer regular departures to Manila via Hong Kong from both London and Manchester costing £600 – £800 rtn. A connecting flight is then required from Manila to Dumaguete from where you’ll be collected by Atlantis Resort staff, costing £170 for one person or £150 for two persons return approx.
Embarkation to the dive boats is done from the the beach, Atlantis operate converted traditional style Bangkas and fiber skiffs. The fiber boats cover the shore dives close to the resort whilst the Bangkas are used for day trips. On offer is wall diving at Siquijor Island, reefs at Apo and muck and macro on the surrounding shorelines of the resort. Nitrox is available. Andy Tattersall runs the photo digital centre at Atlantis and is on hand to provide tips on techniques from beginner to advanced levels.
Atlantis Resort is located 30mins by car from the city of Dumaguete on the island of Negros. Access is best via Manila, then a connecting local flight to Dumaguete City (1hr 20mins approx). Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and Continental Airlines operate regular transfer from London & Manchester.
