Venture to Raja Ampat for vibrant reefs, diverse marine life and high adventure in outback Indonesia, whether you decide to explore the north for its sheer abundance of fish life or stick to the southern region for its picturesque reefs we feel there’s something for everyone here.
Raja Ampat is vast region, best divided into North and South as the diving on offer can vary significantly. Starting in the north we’re very fond of the region found around the Dampier Strait. Dive sites like Mikes Point and Sardines offer jaw dropping scenery with large schools of barracuda and jacks circling in the blue. Mansuar Island offers the chance to get up close and personal with large manta rays, sometimes four or five at a time whilst Cape Kri is perhaps the most lively house reef on the planet.
For something different ask us about the ‘The Passage’, a unique dive site found close to Waigeo Island. This mangrove lined inlet creates an eerie atmosphere with overhanging foliage above the surface and large gorgonian fans and soft corals below.
Further south the sites around Misool Island offer soft coral in abundance, varying topography and great scenery for photography. We have a number of partners we work with throughout Raja Ampat to ensure you’ll experience the style of diving you love.

Sorido Bay offers something traditionally Papuan with a luxurious twist. Large spacious rooms feature local artefacts whilst the veranda steps out to a white sand beach and the clear waters of the Dampier Strait. The diving in this area is by all accounts top notch. In our opinion there’s little need for a liveaboard when [...]
